What's do you think about the Holley terminator on a stock Oldsmobile with a mild cam and a built 2004r with 3.42 gears do you think it's best to run aluminum heads with this efi system are will steel heads be ok to used and do you think it would make a difference in MPG thanks

The Terminator won't give you any difference in the MPG no matter which heads you choose. The difference maker will be your gearing and the 2004r.

So I should just keep my carb on it ?

If you're looking for something that tunes itself no matter what engine is on, go with the Terminator. If you want fuel economy, get the 2004r and make sure that whatever rear gear you have works well with the final ratio of the trans. I was going to use FAST Ez-EFI on my old 455, but that was because I wanted a reliable form of fuel delivery in all conditions. If you want the real benefit of EFI you need to go multiport, but that's expensive because there are no bolt on kits available for Olds.

Keep the carb and add the overdrive.

I've got a terminator and a 2004r and 342 gears in my camaro. Works great. Never going back to a carb

Your unknown is the cost of having injector bungs welded to the intake. Cheapest route is a throttle body unit like FAST or the Terminator.
