So I'm considering picking up a set a wheels that have a 6.85 backspacing for the rear but it seems everyone is running sub 6 inches (5.5 5.75). After doing some research I found 1 Camaro running this set up but not much info.

Does anyone know what the WMS size of the axle is for Gordon Rojewski's car (seen below) also what's the maximum backspacing that can be run. I know that backspacing has to do with the axle size and DSE runs a 54.75 narrow axle housing (I have a quadralink plus DSE mini tubs) but they recommend a sub 6 inch backspacing also.

Post about Gordon's car:

Right now the wheels sit as 18x10.5 but are 3 piece and can be widened to 11 or 12 by changing the lips but this wouldn't adjust the backspacing seeing the inner barrels would be the same.

Currently the wheel is set at 18x10.5 +28 offset. (calculates to 6.85 BS)

My fear is that the 7 inch inner barrel may be too much and hit the inside of the suspension or rail even with mini tubs or that I have to run a large rear axle.

Why not contact Formula43 for specs on his wheels, I'm sure they would share the info. If you don't have your rear housing yet, you could see what you could do to allow the use of the quadralink and those wheels you want. I actually saw this car in person for the first time last weekend, its going to be awesome even in the patina.

If you look in the thread, his wheel is 19x12 with 6.75bs which is 1.5 in wider than yours so you should be ok.
