I'd like to update my Fairlane's 4 wheel death drums to discs. The spindles are the same as
the mustangs (and other intermediates) of the same vintage. I'm not interested in the truly
exotic, just 13" front and 12" rear would be fine.
[ignoring the whole issue of rotors, slotting, cross drilling, etc.]
which front calipers do folks recommend?
2 piston PBR (Baer, etc.)
4 piston "extreme" SSBC
4 piston Wilwood
6 piston Wilwood
JMC Motorsports (are they Wilwood calipers w/ custom rotors, ala Global West's mustang kits?)
any appreciable difference in normal, albeit enthusiastic, street driving?
I know lots of folks here run Baer, but I haven't seen any comparisons with other manufacturers.
thanks in advance.
