What is this sensor?

I recently removed my wire harness that I installed with my 05 gto Ls2 and went with a stand alone harness I purchased from current performance. I found a home for every plug on the new harness with the exception of the sensor at the back of the block by the firewall behind the intake. What is this sensor for? I've been searching on the internet with no success.

I'm pretty sure I unplugged it from the old harness but the new harness didn't have a connection for it.

I believe that is the oil pressure sensor

Correct. Oil pressure. Not required for PCM operation.
