View Full Version : New Chris Alston front sway bar endlinks.

I saw these at SEMA...had to wait a few weeks for them to start production but they finally came today. Naturally I couldn't resist slapping them in. I had to drill the hole in my lower a-arm out to 5/8" but they dropped right in my Hellwig sway bar.

This is compared to the stock 2012 Ram end link that I added urethane bushings to.

They make a 4.x" version and a 7.x" as well....I guess there's about 1 1/4" or so of adjustment if needed. I ran mine all the way down as short as they would go.
I'm hoping that having no bushings in the front or rear endlinks will improve the steering feedback...guess I'll find out tomorrow when I take it out.

Chris is such an innovator. I love these. They're not for the NVH crowd, but awesome, no deflection sway bar end links with plenty of swivel angle.

Newbie question...what does NVH mean?

I had to learn that one too when I came to this site. We don't concern ourselves with the N or H in racing. We do care about the V ... because that means something will eventually break.

Yup, download the catalog and look for "Pro-Touring Bolt-Ons" , its on page 160, they are called inline to inline endlink sets.

Man...these things really tightened up the steering feedback. I had cheap Energy Suspension links on it with urethane on both ends...these made a world of difference. I went up to Mulholland Hwy today and ran the truck HARD...it took 30 minutes to stop shaking from the adrenaline rush after my first run all the way up through the corkscrew. The truck has absolutely never felt that good when I throw it through turns. A guy in a 911 followed me up...we stopped at the top and he looked all over the truck....said he'd never seen a truck move like that. lol

I like the "shaking from the adrenaline" comment. If this happens every time I drive my Falcon, do you think something's wrong with my regular habits?

I'm glad to hear the parts are as good as they look. Hopefully, they'll have some that I can use...

Those look sweet! Shortening the end link is probably what made most of the difference in handling - it totally transformed my truck when I did it. You lose a lot of leverage on the sway bar when you lower the front end without shortening the links.

I tried to make something similar a while ago with axial ball joints (~$7 a piece) but I couldn't find ones with enough articulation to work on my application. The mounts on the LCA and the swaybar barely line up at all on s-trucks so it's hard to make that sort of design fit (it also means a lot of bent/broken end links!).

Wow! Glad to hear they are working out so well for you. We introduced these at SEMA this year. You got one of the first pairs released to the public. I haven't even had time to get them released on our Facebook page or on the forums yet.

THAT is AWESOME. It's great to see a product do what its supposed to.
If I didn't just buy a stall, cooler and shift kit I would have ordered these.
They are at the top of my list for mods.

Yes they do...I'll be buying from them again in the future for sure.
