I am currently having a pro touring 1968 Firebird conv. built and have pretty much everything ironed out so far, I am using Roadster Shop chassis with irs, LSA crate with l85 4 sp overdrive tranny, all the Lingenfelter fun the motor /tranny can handle, dse mini tubs. Gonna stay stock looking exterior other than 17" X 12" rear wheel 17" x 10" fronts done in original ralleye style. My big problem is I really want Recaro ergomed seats or Recaro Orthoped ( I have a really bad back) seats but I cant figure out how to include a shoulder belt into this combo? I don't want 4-5-6 point racing type harness been there done that and not comfy at all. This car is gonna be a driver and I want more than a lap belt. Anybody have any ideas? P.S. this is my first post on this sight, I have been reading it for awhile and have searched for a combo like mine but cant seem to find a good answer on the belts. THANKS in advance for any help anyone could give me on this. Steve

Steve check out the general info /safety threads...there is a company that sells a three point system for your car, I believe it's called morris but, either way there is info there for seat belts to keep your carcus where you want it

Or check out a BMW convertible seat with the built in shoulder belt. Search on here for samco he did it with his 69 trans am.

Corbeau sells a 3 point belt. I know it's universal but it might work for ya. Heres the link:

I know the 69's have a roof mount point, but not sure on the 68....you may need to add a roof mount.
Use a drop link inertia reel system for the fronts, I'm sure Morris can supply a kit for a 68.

I fitted a drop link set up in my 71, and its supper comfortable.
