Okay so I realize this isn't a really hard thing to do on a 68 Camaro with a G-link, but I figured I would throw the question out to see how others had accomplished the same thing. The centering side to side and pinion angle I don't have a problem with, my question is directed to centering the rearend front to back or in the wheel wells. I have a tram gauge and can check with the factory holes, but the rearend no longer has the leafspring pads but rather the weld on lower brackets. So how did you center yours? Thanks for any help

We usually take that measurement at ride height before we remove the suspension. Plumb bob and mark center of quarter panel opening and distance from frame rail (parking brake bracket) to axle tube. You can usually stand back and eye ball the center.
