I'm trying help a friend that may be fitting a "hybrid" style coilover setup on to a 68 A-body. He has some shocks and wants new springs. Looking to find a good source for springs similar to what the DSE or Vi-King type front setups. Any suggested vendors? I could not offer much advice since I'm using separate springs and shocks. He's running SPC lowers and the drivetrain is an LS3/4L70E Any help with suggested spring rate would also be appreciated.

You can call Viking Performance directly and order through them for springs or a full kit. I am running a 550lb spring on my Viking front DA's. UMI is also a dealer as well for Viking Performance.

Matt's Classic Bowties set me up with a Vi-King full kit for a killer price. Got it fast too.

Thanks guys. I'll see what springs they have to offer. Wonder if Hyperco has any?

UMI is a dealer for QA1 and Viking. I think we were actually Viking's first dealer and even worked with them on some fitment of products. We will be glad to help if we can. Thanks.

another option would be buying 5"coil spring adapters and using 5x9.5 circle track springs http://pitstopusa.com/i-12067617-allstar-performance-5-coil-over-adapter.html?gclid=CM-umcDQpLsCFTNp7Aod0EgALw

Chris how soon does your friend want the springs?im going to order the chicane in the next couple of months and can sell the dse springs i have.btw the dse spring is 9.5 tall,so if he used a hyperco or the like he would need a spring cup and use a really short spring, which isnt that great.what length shocks does he have,comp.,ext.?
