I would go with the 3" to match the 2" fronts.

You could always go with the 2" and if it's not enough add 1" lowering blocks. If you go 3" and you think it's too low then you have to buy new leafs.

I don't think he will have that problem. Most are happy with the 3" spring, some have even added a 1" to that.
this is a DSE 2" drop spring.

I know there isn't much weight in it, but I don't see it dropping more than 4".

I have the three inch leafs ready to go in, I hope you guys are right. I made the mistake of getting my car to sit perfect but the rear leafs were old , now I have to start over. Maybe I will get lucky and the car will sit the same with the new springs.

What size wheels are you running? What is your current stance in the front with the 2" lowered springs? Pics will help a lot.
Worst case scenero. The rear sits lower than the front and it forces you to lower the front even more. :) :) They you will probably have the same stance that I have. :)

Took my car off the lift and its lower in the rear than the front. Spoke to dse and they said you can use a longer shackle to raise the car, only drawback is aesthetics.I am going to try one inch longer shackle and trim the ends, it may barely show. I may be selling my three inch drop leafs soon.

The front of the car is about as low as I can go, I have that bulldozer front spoiler and the car bottoms out now and then. I am going to try the longer shackle for now. That race through city streets on long island this weekend.(its a 1.5 mile autocross on closed roads)

I will post some pics of the car and the event monday.

I have two other problems to fix so I can pass tech, the brass overflow tube snapped off the radiater and the car has to pass a no hands braking test (it pulls slightly).

Neither one is a big deal but because of work I only have a half a day sat urday to get them fixed.

The pulling should improve a little with new shock and leafs, the overflow I will try and find a radiater shop to do it, maybe while the rad. is in the car. I may also try a piece of tubing epoxied in as a temporary fix.

I wish i had known about this event sooner - but what fun would that be!

i would not go with 3 inch drop in the first place specialy if you have some desend hp under the hood and the batery ecetera in the trunk . afther 6 months to a year of serius funn driving and stop light races your rear leaf spring will settle lower annyway .........

I will when the car, a camera and myself are all in the same place at once.
