Some new pics of my Chevy II

Well heres some updated pics of my chevy II....I just finished smoothin off the block and assembling the engine, too bad it will probably sit there awhile till I get the rest of the work done....course, I guess I could just set it in there and fire it up :icon996: , you know...to break it in and stuff :headbang:

I cut out the wiper hump and put a new style motor under the dash, filled in and made a column mount and welded up every hole, filled in the cowl louvers and got my dash "roughed" in for now

Well here is a drawing I did at work today, it's pretty much what I want the car to look like........I think :rolleyes: .

Silver with darker silver ghost flames and maroon interior, dunno bout wheels yet :confused:

I like the dash. I also like the goast flames. What about high lighting the flame with a little purple and green? Just a thought.

yeah I actually did it with like a candy green and a dark purple

The green looked really good but I thought it might not look right with the maroon int.

It looks like you brought in the firewall. Was that mandatory to get a new transmission to fit? In my 1962 Chevy II, I'm planning on using a 700R4. Before I replace the floors due to rust, it would be nice to know if I have to make any adjustments for the transmission to fit besides welding in a cross member. I'm planning on using the Heidt's or Chassisworks coil over shock front clip.

Actually I didnt change the firewall for the trans at all...I just removed the wiper"hump" and stepped in the middle alittle,

wasnt mandatory just got bored one evening and decided to cut it all out=) just gave me alittle more room around the big block so I could move it back an 1"
