So, I have been reading about 100 threads with point, counter point discussions on aftermarket fuel injections. Does anyone have a true picture of which is best? I have a Buick 425 nail head and would like to add injection. Looks like FAST EZ 2.0 has some issues and is priced outa sight. Seems like Holley has a good unit and they don't seem to have as many problems. Is my take on this correct? There are also a couple of other companies that offer after market injection but I can't find much info on these. This is a 400 hp engine with a 5-speed and will be used mostly on the street. True experiences, installation ease and opinions will be appreciated. I only want to do this once.
Thanks, FreddieZee

Unless you go with a multipoint system I see little advantage to doing a throttle body style injection. A properly tuned carb will work just as well, or better. Save your money.

MSD and Edelbrock are a couple of others that offer throttle body efi conversions. Both work very well, beat a troublesome carb any day.

EZ EFI 1.0 here, no issues. Sure it took a little tinkering to get it tuned, but it's a piece of cake with the controller. I went for a spin the other day when it was 35* out, no worries.
Not everybody wants an LSx.

You might consider Holley's Terminator. It uses the same ECU as the HP, so if you decide at a later date to go multipoint, just add the harness and injectors.

I have the Holley HP EFI... Works well once tuned but only 1 O2 sensor, so you get an incomplete picture. The Dominator has two O2 sensors but both should function well. Switching from TBI to MPFI is simple.
