so around 2 years ago with my 16th birthday coming up my dad and mom finally gave me the okay to buy my first car with a limit of 3 grand all together between us both we started looking basically the only things that were in my near future was a honda but then i stumbled across a 1971 camaro for sale 30 minutes from me for sale guy wanted 7 for it at first and a week later price went down to 5 so after convincing my dad to take me to see it we offered the guy 3 grand and surprisingly the guy went for it! 3k for a soild running car not to bad within that year we took care of the body work and some minor mechanical issues and drove it as my DD for 2 years before the engine blew block was eating oil faster than we could keep filing it up and died from lack of oil after a rebuild of the engine i drove it for a while then i watched a video on mary pozzi's car and she inspired me to transform my camaro i decided it was time to park it and give it the pro touring upgrade an updated drivetrain i was always on edge about the lsx motors i knew they were good but new i could never afford one with how much i made a 350 was more in my reach intill an uncle of mine surprised me by saying he'd sell me a wrecked 07 denali for a grand after that i knew its time to take the swap on as for suspension hotchkis suspension upper lower control arms, subframe connectors, leafs, front and rear sway bars and some coil overs buying it all little by little of course and upgrading the brakes and steering as well my plans for the paint on this car is to paint it victory red with matte black z28 stripes and blacking out the bumpers, bezels, trim and rims this build is gonna take a while but it will be worth it!
