Less than $3k and was restored around 10 years ago.. spent some time in Michigan so there is rust in the quarters.. he says only in the quarters.. hmmm

Too bad about the quarters.. I wonder how hard they are to replace.. and what other evils lurk in hidden places.. lol

I noticed the Wisconsin plates on the car in the pictures. If it is in southeastern Wisconsin I would be glad to go look at it for you.

Judging by the rot on the left side of the trunk mat I'd guess extensive. Also note the fairly new U of Wisconson decal. I know I didn't have covered parking when I was in school nor did I have a place to keep my car very clean. My guess is that car spent many many cold nights outside after driving on salted roads.

Id pass.

Steve, there's a 67 or 68 coupe for sale up the road from me. It's all in primer, didn't catch a price on it. Want me to take a look for ya? It's only about 5 minutes up the street from me.

ROFL

Gotta love the second one on the list. It's got a stick shift...WITH a "shift kit". I like the seat too. :)

This one is in the Seattle area... Oh, and you might get a kick out of the cars in the background.

Hey Steve,

Why don't you ask the guy to take a photo of the trunk without the trunk mat in place, take a shot of the other quarter panel, and a couple of shots of the rocker panel pinch weld (the tell all of rust in the lower body). A picture in the fenderwells would be good too, but good luck getting the guy to remove the wheels for that price.

Call me crazy, but the rest of the visualls look decent. Otherwise you are going to get another car you don't want to "cut up."

Tony, did you see the Torino GT for sale at that little used car lot on W. San Carlos?

Smart move passing on that Steve. Your right it is amazing how nice the rest of the car looked.
If you look closer at the truck it is destroyed too. See that crack on the left side trunk. I almost guarantee thats all the way thru. Just imagine the floor.
I do like the pic that DarkBuddha posted with the 67 Fastback surrounded by 69 Camaros. Awesome pic.

You're just mad that I live in dry/warm SoCal where we don't HAVE to settle for rusted out cars :icon_razz

;)

I am in no rush to find a car since the project won't start for a few months.. but I will keep my eyes open just in case.. the deals are out there.
