Are you looking to put this VA unit in your fbody? I put this exact unit (real functional unit) in TA back in 2011. I had a new dash I was putting in and with the dash out...the VA unit was super easy to put in. Most difficult thing is installing the A/C lines (needed crows feet wrenches).

Yes, it will be going into my 79 Camaro. It is a shell, just back from the media blaster. I plan on having a roll cage installed next year and want the bars to run inside the dash cavity and thru the firewall. Having this mock-up unit installed will ensure I have the space needed to install the real deal when that time comes.
