I am doing a 4 wheel disc brake swap on my '69 Camaro. I decided to go with the 2010 Camaro SS setup. They are 14" front rotors and 14.25" rears with 4 piston Brembo calipers. (same as CTS-V)

Any recommendations on a master cylinder/brake booster? It would be nice to get something that isn't too expensive. So maybe a takeoff of another GM vehicle. I'm assuming the MC from a 2010+ Camaro SS wouldn't bolt up?

I have heard that the 4th gen master cylinder bolts right up. Anyone with experience on how that would work for my setup?

I used a 7/8" aluminum reman Isuzu Trooper ('94-'64 era I believe) master cylinder, mainly because its very small packaging of the cylinder body, and it had good routing of the F & R outputs. Also has integrated level resistance sensor if that's of any interest.

Well I did a little research and the stock 2010 Camaro SS master cylinder is 1-1/16" diameter. I believe the stock 4th gen Fbody master is 1". The bore area of the 2010+ Camaro compared to the 4th gen fbody would be about 12% larger. Does the 4th gen master cylinder with an adjustable proportioning valve seem like a good option?

Can anyone confirm that they 4th gen master can be made to work with my 69 Camaro?

Another option would be a C3 Corvette master cylinder with a 1" bore.

Both of those options should perform the same right?
