Maybe not so stupid question

When using -AN, 37*, fittings for brakes. Does the sleeve and nut need to match the line material ?? SS sleeves and nuts with SS line etc ... Or does it not make a difference??

I hope it doesn't matter, I've got aluminum sleeve and nut on a SS line. But, I'm not on the road yet so hard to tell if it is going to be problematic....

What is your scenario? Ss onto steel isn't a problem, but I usually keep it aluminum on aluminum lines , may be a personal preference. :)

Just a little pre-work info hunting. Still undecided on what material to use for my lines. OEM covered with Techflex to make them look nice, Stainless or Cunifer. Was curious if the tubing material made a difference in what you used for sleeves and nuts.
