Hooker has discontinued production of their 2238 side mount headers for 1st Gen SBC Camaros. It is reasonable to assume, however, that they still have the manufacturing specs on these headers in their files somewhere. I am trying to find out if there is any possibility that I can special order a set of these headers or alternatively obtain a copy of the plans to build my own set. I'm know there are a lot of influential SEMA members on this forum that are close the performance industry and may have contacts within Holley Corporation that they might be able direct me to. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

These things are everywhere! Ha! I’m just waiting for a car to put the headers on.

I know this post is old but I am trying to locate a set of Hooker 2238 sidemount headers and sidepipes for a 1969 Camaro I'm restoring. I had a set of these on my first car which was a 69 Camaro and found that they are discontinued.

If anyone has a set or a lead on a set, please contact me at 517-5two9-4six61.

Thanks in advance!! Brian Ruhlman - Clarklake, MI

If you don't turn anything else up, you might speak to these folks.

https://www.gpheaders.com

They will make you custom headers, and may even have some sort of pattern on file. Price looks reasonable for one-off stainless headers too. Good luck on your search. Disclaimer, I've never used them before, but may wind up doing so for my project.
