C5 mirrors on a 69 camaro?

Has anybody here done this? I have a pair, I won on ebay coming tomorrow and I would just like to know if anyone tackeled this project?
I searched the forums with no luck.

The Mule I believe started out with C5 mirrors and then was changed to Chevelle mirrors if I remember correctly. Maybe Charlie will chime in and give us the lowdown on what really happened.

Mule had the Vette mirrors on it but they looked too big. The it got the Chevelle mirrors...

Charley, this comes at a perfect time as I am considering options for different mirrors on my 67. Were there any problems that you ran in to while trying to fit them to the Camaro?

I think there is a pic in Tony's PT book. I plan to run them on my 68 since it will be low I want lots of visiblity.

I think it was just a matter of shaving down the pedestals to make it more compact. I need a drivers side setup if anyone has a extra.
