After seeing Mike's (Scherp69) awesome 68 Acadian build thread, I had to start my own! LOL
I bought this POS off of craigslist October 2012. It ran, but not well. I almost made it home when it started pouring coolant everywhere. So I had it towed the rest of the way. (turns out it was just a bad rad cap)
Original V8 car according to the cowl tag.
It had a 327 out of a 1966 chevelle with a muncie 4 speed. The seats were out of a 60's Ford. UGH!

Engine:
Had Robert @ Klien Racing Engines rebuild the 1966 Chevy 327 CI.
Bored 30 over.
Competition cams: 270 cam/roller rockers/pushrods/gear drive.
Double hump 202 heads.
Procomp air gap style intake.
Edelbrock 1904 Carb.
Mallory Unilite distributor/coil.

Trans:
2005 GTO 40k mile T-56.
Quicktime bellhousing kit
Mcleod TO bearing sleeve
TRW stock TO bearing
Stock resurfaced flywheel
Hays clutch HAY-40-221
Hays HAY-34-618 pressure plate.
Had to change the shifter cup/link to a camaro style.
MGW T-56 short throw shifter.

those nova's have one of the best looking bodies, and the slope down the back is just beautiful on them.
