You'll need an adapter plate from Trans Dapt for the BOP to Gm trans- you'll need an electronic controller, and a throttle position actuation for the controller. Also may need to grind inside the shifter mechanism if you want a 1st gear.
Don't forget fittings for the Trans lines. If there is no room for a conventional one you may need to run banjo fittings.

I can sell you this stuff as a package deal if you don't want to piece it together- feel free to email

I'm running one in my Chevelle and Dale is correct. Although, no adapter needed to bolt to the big block.
One thing to consider with the electronics is you might want to run the harnes and controller inside the car. I ran my TSI ez shift on the firewall as recommended but having "noise" issues with the HEI.
The computer goes into "error" mode for a fraction of a second which makes the trans drop a gear (or two). Especially when in overdrive but also effects the overall shifting of the trans.
That's my winter project.
