Here is a shot of the paddle shifter and my new steering wheel. Both Steveo and company and Wabbits did an excellent job with their products to create a stunning piece. Add the ididit column and you got a really trick looking unit.

You just are not very good at this are you? You are worse then a kid trying to keep a secret. I don't know how I will control the situation when you take it home Monday!

Puzzle pieces number 41 and 42 for you collectors!

Well you won't see me complain about letting the cat out of the bag. Wabbit's did a killer job on the steering wheel and I'm glad I sent you the new "shorty" paddles for your Shrifter. Thank you for the business--and the shameless plug. Enjoy it!!

Bill Howell is definitely no John Parsons. Frank, you may want to head up there with a roll of duct tape. Tape his fingers together so he can't type.

I like the new look of the paddle. I was always kind leary of the points on the first ones but the new one looks just great. The pointy ones have a real streetfighter look and looks are evrything in the right car. Now everyone can have a choice. Way to go Steevo!!!

A secret like that can be hard to keep since it can excite people. I think you need to have a lien on his title next time and that might work better than tape. He might use sign language or something if you don't. :rtfm:

Very nice, Bill!! But you forgot the links! Linkes are essential in shameless plugs. I don't know wabbits, but for the paddle shifter aka shrifter www.twistmachine.com

Very rarely do I find a great company and align myself with that company. Wabbits is the exception. The quality of work, unique capabilities, communication (which I am real big on), schedule and cost are so fantastic with Wabbitts, we are huge cheerleaders for them. Prodigy Customs and Wabbitts are very tight right now, you can reach them through us at Prodigy, or wabbittsww.com, tell them Prodigy told you to call.

The Prodigy / Wabbitts alliance specializes in one off real wood and real carbon fiber treatments and products. We also have some production pieces coming, some crazy stuff to be seen on Project Prodigy, AT SEMA BILL!!!!

Bill's car has a ton of other custom carbon fiber through the interior, but I am sure Bill won't be able to stand it and you will all see it soon, LOL.

The Shrifter is well known here. It is a work of art. Besides being a cool toy on the car, it is a real attention grabber. Now if we could just make it work on a TKO!

:lmao: Secrets have never been my strong point for sure. I do have to second what Frank has said about Wabbits. Their quality is unequaled. Every piece is perfect and the owner is very customer service oriented, unlike some of the suppliers I have dealt with on this project.
Like Jim said, I never really liked the look of the original paddles, but these new ones are right on and fit like a glove.
I am trying hard not to spill all the beans, but it is hard. I am just waiting to see if Mike has enough puzzle pieces yet.LOL
I guess my goal in all of this is to prove that even a Poser can have a decent car!

No problem. The first unit will cost you 7 digits. I'll throw in the 2nd unit for free.

I like these paddles better than the batman ones too, but another option could be to mimick the rear profile of the car (I'm thinking of the teaser picture you posted awhile ago). I guess it would then be kind of a cross between the two.

Really nice car Bill, and really nice job Frank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The paddles are modular and machined in 2D. Each paddle is held on with two countersunk stainless steel screws--easy to replace. So generating custom paddles is not difficult. There will be more standard designs introduced in the future. Two more designs are currently on the drawing board: "Knucklz" and "Trigger". I've thought about hosting a Paddle Design Contest sometime next year (not now). With the winner getting prize money plus royalty money from each set sold.

Hey Steve (C) I was just checking out your site. It looks great... but the video you have is in .mp4 format. You might want to put that into another... even if it is a little bigger because most people don't have the software to view it. Not unless you're l33t like me...

Just kidding. Well, about my hacker abilities. Just a thought.

P.S. Steve (R)... you want to sell me that subframe? :naughty:

Max,
I'll email you a wmv version. The file is not quite fully edited so I can't put it on the site yet.
Rick,
Good question, but probably belongs in the auto transmission topic. Start a thread there and I'll answer your questions.

Steve, I could open it. I was just making a suggestion to make it easier for non-computer types to view. mp4 is not that widely used by the Windows users. Thanks though! The video made me want a Shrifter.

Oh. Thanks for the tip. I was of the impression that if folks could view mpegs, they could view MP4's. What I really need is a new video.
Thanks for your interest,
