I am trying to get a fast fuel injection system to control timing. I have locked out the rotor and timed it as per the setup wizard. I am running a MSD 2 Wire Pro-Billet distributor that is connected to the crank trigger input as per fast. Then from the EFI box a points output goes to my 6AL box. I am getting electrical noise as per fast and the motor is running then dies without warning.

If I disable the EFI from controlling timing and connect my distributor directly to the 6AL box and use the 6AL box's rpm output to the EFI's rpm input the system works fine. starts and runs with no problems.

I really want to take advantage of the ignition control.

Fast is saying that I have noise in the mode that controls timing because I keep hitting the max 255 IRM counts.

Should I change from the Pro-Billet to the Fast Dual sync to get a cleaner signal. Or is there a way to clean up the 2 wires output? They said the Dual sync is a square wave output similar to the output of the MSD box?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
