So what would you guys do? My 67 convertible camaro has a 327 with a pretty aggressive cam. I'm putting a holly 650dp on it. What should I or could u do to make this car act preform and sound great. 90% city 10% highway driving. And with out going crazy what's the avg HP to be expected. " I don't know the exact cam"

There are a million options for the SBC. Unless you just want to spend money on it. If it is a 327 "vette" engine. Why do anything. The vettes used the camel humps and you said it had a cam, drop it in unless it needs to be rebuilt. Then just rebuild it.

There are many different 327 version from days of old with the most common being 300hp and the high end 340hp. The engine may have had a lot of work done to it and be putting out more. A 383 stroker kit and some new aluminum heads would get you into mid 400s or better. I would build the most I could afford but go with a hyd roller cam since you do so much city driving. Good Luck!
