Build thread on this website: https://www.pro-touring.com/threads/102175-1969-C-10-From-AFTERMATH

The truck is located in Panama City Florida. I'm looking for $10,000 or best offer.

What we have here is a fresh 1969 Chevrolet C-10. Originally a long bed, it has been cut down to factory short bed dimensions. Engine is a rebuilt GM crate engine that runs great. Transmission is a rebuilt TH350 that shifts perfect and the rear end is the factory 12 bolt. Exhaust is brand new true dual with 2.5” glass packs tucked up nice and high. Sounds awesome. Power steering, power brakes. Heat but no A/C. Vent windows work great. All brand new door rubber. Dash pad is brand new from LMC. All of the good stuff has been thrown at this chassis. McGaughy’s 2.5” drop spindles (drilled and slotted disk brake conversion) along with 3” drop CPP springs in the front. All new ball joints. 5” CPP drop springs in the rear with a 2” drop block. Yup that’s 5.5” in the front and 7” in the rear. CPP adjustable pan hard bar. CPP shock relocators. A McGaughy’s c-notch was used in the rear (welded in) with new bump stops. The front aligned perfectly, the truck drives like a dream with its brand new 13.5” glitter green steering wheel. The rear end sports brand new 295/50-15’s on a 10” wheels and the fronts are brand new 255/60-15’s on 8” wheels. You can’t fit any more rubber under the fenders, it’s a pretty aggressive look. The tires do not rub anywhere on the frame or body. Speaking of body; this truck is 99% rust free. It’s straight out of Las Vegas and just about as clean as they come. There was one rust spot on front passenger fender that was patched with a Goodmark panel. Front and rear bumpers were removed in favor of steel roll pans that have been smoothed in to the body. The factory antenna has been shaved and a hidden antenna installed. Marker lights and exterior emblems are shaved. The paint was a complicated process but looks awesome. The first coat is flat black covered by a Satin Eden (olive green) and then scuffed to reveal the black underneath. Eventually the entire body was covered in a black tinted gloss clear. It is quite a crowd pleaser that must be seen to be appreciated. If you don't like thumbs up look elsewhere. The interior is original. Every wire on the truck is brand new from Rebel Wire. Brand new LED tail lights and an LED 3rd brake light that lights up the rear undercarriage at night when brakes are applied. Tag light works. New carpet with Dyna mat. All gauges work but the speedo is a little off due to the shorter tires and I don’t totally trust the fuel gauge. Glass is all good, light tint. Seat is factory and could use a seat cover. I’ve been using a Mexican blanket and never wanted/needed anything else. Stereo works, it’s a AM/FM CD player with ipod hook up. This thing is truly an awesome truck that you can drive anywhere. If you have questions please ask. If you need more pictures I’ll get them to you as soon as possible. Serious buyers can give me a call at 850-603-0722

Thats a great price for the amount of work you put into the truck. Did you use the oven cleaner trick on the paint?

You'd sell that truck in a heartbeat at the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona this month. My opinion of course.

Good thinking about the turkey run. Not really the oven cleaner method but I'd be interested to hear more about that one. I just rubbed the green off until enough black came through.

Im going to Florida the 2nd week of december. If its still available Id love to see this. This could make a nice addition to my garage as I was planning to get a SWB C10 at some point in the future.

I'm currently building another V8 beetle rod for a customer and I plan on a fat fender chevy truck soon. I'm thinking '48 ish. The idea is to narrow the cab 8" and and widen each fender 4." I think it'll look pretty cool.
