CK Transmissions built my 2004r. I'd buy from them again in a heart beat.

SBC 406 in an AMC Spirit.
The 200 is the same length as a TH350 so you wont have to shorten you drive shaft and its smaller than a 700 so its more likely to fit in your trans tunnel with out mods. It also has a lower 1st gear and is lighter. Properly built it can handle tonnes of power.
The 700 can handle more power than the 200. And at equal power ratings the 700 will be a cheaper product. But again will it fit and how much will it cost to make it fit.
We use Bowler for all our automatic transmission stuff. We've been know to use our transmissions hard [and somewhat past that :)]. A bi-annual freshening is kind of a maintainence item for us...with normal hard use it should last a good long time.

I had Mark build me a 200R4 for a customer that didn't want to feel the shift. I have never had a problem with Mark.
