I have owned this car since 1972. It is the first car I owned. Drove it until I built a house and started a family. I stored it for 30 years and currently as you can see it is a work in progress. Has a Schwartz G-Machine chassis and LS3 with 4L65E.

Can't get my captions to post with the pictures. Here's the run down. Engine is an LS3 crate with a 4L65E trans. All this sits in a Schwartz G-Machine Chassis. Headers are made by Schwartz also.

Cut the transmission tunnel out in order to get body lower on the chassis. A little hammer and dolly work on the tunnel and then welded it back in. This allowed the body to be dropped almost 2 inches.

Was thinking that's a bit unnecessary of a cut size for the transmission tunnel, but see what you did. nice work!

Hey cactuss4, I need to make clear that this is my car but I am not doing the work. I do have some mechanical skills but for this car I have a professional builder doing it. So I am not taking credit for any of the work just the the ideas. Hope folks will not diss me for going about it this way. The builder is Corbett's Auto Restoration in Cherryville, NC. They are on the web and Facebook. Check them out, I think they do great work.
