I'm really new to the whole automotive scene and have only been doing research for the last while and plan to continue to do so. So I really learned to love the whole pro tour style and really want to build a pro tour car of my own. I became a huge third gen (82-92) Camaro fan and went out and bought a 1991 Camaro Z28 that is bone stock except for a Borla cat back system that I put on. I don't plan on doing many autocross competitions if I do it would only be for the fun of it. Mostly it would be about having this kind of car and the car would be for traveling and local shows. So I just wanted to ask what makes the definition of a pro tour car? Also is fuel injection a big part of one these builds? I plan on starting small with building up an LS1 till I can afford to go with a bigger LS engine. Any tips, help, suggestions would greatly be appreciated. 83879

Generally it stops, drives, runs the curves, ad accelerates better than it did in stock form.

Check out the project updates section you'll find what a lot of folks are doing, that should give you some good ideas.

Welcome!
