i am working on building a nice 97 yukon to drive to swap meets and general driving when i am not using the truck, okay here is where i am at , i took the front clip off to blast and paint the rad support and fender wells etc, i wanted it to look clean under the hood and i was going to pull the heads off and do the head gaskets and all hoses just so i knew that it was all new ! i did find a bunch of bad hoses that may have left me on the side of the road calling a tow truck :( so i am glad i am doing what i am doing taking my time and doing it 100%, and the heater hose fitting broke very very easily on the pass side

okay, so i am in my storage shed and remember i still have the l98 aluminum heads and complete tuned port from a 91 z28 and all of it was in a few totes sitting in there, i have the complete set-up and a bunch of spare parts some from lt1 , got a few rails and injectors and throttle bodies, comp roller rockers, stud girdles etc, so i am looking at the trottle body on the yukon and it has the same connectors for the tps and other one next to it to shift the trans , its already fuel injection on the yukon with the vortec motor so i already have fuel lines, i am sure i will need to get some adapters and other things, hers is my question, how much work would it be to put the tpi on , the l98 heads, so i can keep the vortec lower half with the crank sensor on it and get a tpi upper half on it , i am not trying to burn the 1/4 mile in 8 seconds, just want to use up leftover parts, i can post up some pics if i need to , i know someone on here has tons of knowledge on this stuff !

if use the vortec 350 then i can retain the crank sensor and small crab distibutor, so i guess really i need some ideas about firing the fuel injectors since the vortec had the spider rails with injectors , i havent pulled the intake or heads yet, stopped after the fitting broke, then i knew it was time for a different direction, please help !!
