View Full Version : moving stock framrails inboard

anyone tried this. instead of notching the stock framerails, getting replacements and moving them inboard. looks like some floorpan modifications would need to be made. just thinking though.

I've done it in the past, its a pain.They were buckled anyways.
Just as easy cutting the old ones out and welding in a set of CCE rails. Alot beefier than stock replacment U rails. If you need an example, take a look at my homepage, theres a Chevy II that my grand kids might finish for me. Its rails are moved in about 3". I think?

I'm intersted to see whre this goes. B Schein, do you know the price of the frame rails alone, without the kit? Is that your company?
