Hello everyone,

My mechanic was telling me about this site and how knowledgeable you folks are. My ride is a 66 mustang coupe. Fuel injected 347 stroker motor, AFR heads, custom cam, twin T3/T4 turbo setup @8 lbs boost. Tuned with a Megasquirt PNP ecu. Lentech AOD with manual valve body. 8.8 inch rear end with 28 spline axles and a worn out try track and 355 gears. Hydraboost 4 wheel Cobra disc brakes. Power rack n pinion steering, front suspension from a sn95.

I do not drag race my car, I just simply want it to handle nicely in case I ever get to go and attend a track day.

I'm in the Navy and I'm currently stationed down in San Diego, CA.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and he to learn a lot.

Jason

Your car sounds awesome man. Have any pics you can share? Is your car daily driven? Was the turbo set-up a kit or did you piece it together?

Welcome to the forum Jason. Got to love the early Stangs!

Try to post a few pics of the car when you get a chance.

The turbo kit was built by Greg at Mustang Motorsports in Aurora, CO. It is my weekend/fun car. I have no intention of taking it to a drag strip. I just want to be able to have fun.
I would like to eventually autocross it if possible.

The problem is that when I'm in boost (currently 8lbs), that it heats up causing me to have to pull over.

Car looks really nice. Hope you figure out a way to keep it cool but its probably the only way the car that lines up next to you has a chance lol.

Welcome , nice ride! Always hid to see more Mustangs here. I am currently working on my '66, long way to go but should turn out pretty cool when finished.
