Corvette or F-body I would think. Maybe some of the Monte SS guys can chime in on what fits best. There are plenty of elcos and montes with LSx motors, somene has had to have tried both. You can use the stock serp belt if using stock accessories. If you plan to run AC, (Kwik bracket or Holley bracket) both give you the correct belt to run. Scott

I have Vette setup using the Holley AC bracket.

Mines not a g-body but I can vouch for the Vette setup with Holley AC bracket. It puts all the accessories up high and out of the way.
Also the quality of the holley stuff is top notch.

I like the set up, I can keep my A/C hoses short

I bought the compressor pictured above, before I found out about the Sanden 4864 compressor.

http://store.sanden.com/index.php/4864.html

It will mount on the same bracket, but has GM style fittings on it. There is a guy using this compressor in his El Camino (TPI motor) & uses 91 F body hoses, condenser & all works.

Not sure if it will work in my case with 1" set back mounts & an LS motor. Here is where my compressor sets with the LS motor, 1" set back plates & Holley bracket:

Here is his pic of the compressor in the El Camino. Looks like same hoses would work for us as well:

My only concern looking at it is this compressor will be rotated 45 degrees using the Holley bracket, so not sure how the hoses will fit.

I was planning on the Dirty Dingo mts, with 2 inches of travel

PS Thanks for the input, keep it coming

I am using Trans Dapt 1" setback mounts.

Since you did the swap, did you use the factory gauges??

Haven't got it started yet, but yes I am using stock gauges. Oil pressure sender in oil pan fitting, water temp from a modified sending unit machined to fit in the LS3 head. Tach signal has to be programmed as the proper output to run the Monte tach. Amp I haven't looked at yet, but shouldn't be a problem.

Corvette brackets/acc fit very good. I also use the Holley bracket but with a r4 style compressor & the 91 Camaro hoses.

I read that a guy went through 3 of the R4 compressors (using R134) in 6 years, then switched a sanden compressor made for R134. With the Sanden compressor he can still use 91 F body hoses & condenser on the G body. I went with a different Sanden compressor before knowing about this one that works with stock 91 hoses.
