The 6 speed requires either the 5.7 or 6.1/6.4 hemi. In reality, you can buy a used SRT for just slightly more than a 5.7 car, they usually have very low mileage and are very well maintained. The SRT interior and Brembo brakes are worth the the small difference in price.

I enjoy my RT. It's a fun car. Added a air intake, short throw shifter and a diablo. The tuner woke the car up.
