Hi, I'm a new member here. I've been watching and learning. This is a very helpful site. I have a 65 Lemans that I want to modernize. It won't be really P.T. but I hope to improve braking and suspension.
I don't want to go any bigger than 16" wheels as I already have those. So can anybody give me some suggestions on "large" brakes that will fit in a 16? I have searched and found mention or 12" C4 but can't find any details. The car is currently power drum so I guess anything would be an improvement. If stock 11 A body disc's are the best I can do, I'll do that but I wanted to improve them as much as possible. Any thought on this subject would be helpful. I would prefer a salvage yard type deal if possible as money is an object. Thanks for the patience. I kinda rambled on didn't I?

Thanks, Murf

Kinda depends on what rims you have...... that information might lead you to many more choices.
