I currently have 2 problems with the accessory drive kit I am using for my small block chevy. It is a GMPP serpentine kit.
1) The brace for the alternator looks as though it is unable to line up with the exhaust manifold/header bolt to which it is supposed to be fastened. I am hoping I can simply do without it. Yellow circle...Anyone with experience here?
2) The "bat" terminal on the alternator is much too close to my valve covers. I think I can "alter it" (hack part of it off) in order to resolve this issue. Blue circle...Anyone have experience or a solution here?
