I have found all kinds of posts on mini tubs on first gen Camaros but none have answered this question. How much clearance should there be between the inner wheel lip and the inner fenderwell? If possible also, how much clearance between the tire and inner fenderwheel. I am having my wheels widened to the inside and this measurement would help so much. Thanks in advance

Come on guys! As many people that have done mini tubs on a First gen Camaro, nobody is willing to help out with a measurement?

At least 1/2" or maybe a quarter depends on how much side to side movement

You haven't specified your tire/wheel size combo, however 1/2" clearance is what I would generally consider the minimum allowable clearance between the tire and the body due to how much everything moves under load. Certainly rear suspension type/configuration will make a difference since leaf springs will allow for more movement than a 3/4-link, Watt's Link or some other panhard bar type setup. Unless your wheels are wider than your tires, I don't understand what you would need that measurement for...or maybe you already have the wheels but not rubber.

It's about 14.75" if possible at 10:00 and 2:00, but really you need to measure and follow Tobin's advice above regarding a rear locating device.

I have 14.5 total clearance after the minit ub and g-link install. The wheels I have are 9.5 and since they are new I am going to have them widened. Getting another set of wheels is out of the question for quite a while. I have 4" of room between the tire now and the inner fenderwell. I can have them widened to 12" and still have plenty of room to run a 335 and have .75 over available movement, that was why I was asking
