I am having a new trunk lid painted for my '68 RS/SS and would like to know if I should install the lid catch before paint or after paint? Should this part be painted the body color or should it be left black? I also would appreciate it if anyone knows of a place where I can buy the hardware for this catch (2 bolts). I'm also looking for the original screw that is used to attach the trunk light to the lid. These small items are hard to find but neccessary for a correct restoration. Any info would be appreciated.
