Just finished a build converting numerous parts from a wrecked 06 GTO to my 69 Camaro. Drive train, wiring harness, complete interior including dash, HVAC basically everything.

How hard was the dash to install?? Looks like it fits very well!

Fitting the dash is fairly long process. Engine and trans must be installed first for shifter locating the console which determines the dash position. Part of the fire wall of the GTO was used so the HVAC could bolt back up in the same position. Then you have the steering column, brake and clutch assemblies to deal with. Brackets have to made to support the dash and components. All in all numerous hours were involved to make everything fit.

Ah interesting! I had been told the seats were too wide to fit... looks like that isn't true! Cool project!

I love the modern dash retrofits.
