I have the SPC touring springs 550 ft/lbs front 135 ft/lbs rear for a GM A body car. They were originally supposed to go onto my 72 chevelle but I decided after some consulting with Mark from SC&C that since i'm going to road race and I'm rarely going to drive the car on the street I have to go with higher spring rates. These springs feature about 1.2" of front drop and 1" rear.
The springs were mounted a week ago and have maybe 50-100 miles on them, so they are almost brand new. I have not taken the car to any tracks or raced it in any way because the suspension is still fresh and just getting dialed in. They are $290.00 plus shipping new, my price is 220.00 plus shipping.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, thank you.

I see Oct. 14, 2013, 02:33 PM.
Considering same springs for `68 Olds Cutlass. Just installed SC&C's SPC uppers and .5 and .9 taller Howe ball joints. Put in castor at pos. 5-5-1/2 degs. What was the drop in back if stock?, 1" as advertised? Was the ride OK as to driving harshness? Would an average wife complain? (not interested in discussing what I mean by average, grin;) What were they installed in and what was the condition of suspension mods?
Thanks for your time if you don't mind,
Patrick

I have the Stage 2+ and these springs and the ride or overall feel is as good as my V70 Volvo. Overall as nice as a new GM mid size sedan.

Lance, the stance looks very good and usable on the street. What are the OA (overall) Diameters over the rubber front and back? Looks to be 27-28"? My rims are 15" and 26.3 Dia. rubber or so. Actually, what are the full specs of the rims/tire sizes? hmmm, That looks really decent! Not too thin a side wall in my opinion.

Hey sorry for the late reply, i've been going through surgery and haven't been able to get back to anyone. they were installed in my chevelle which has the SC&C AFX package, C5 brakes/C6 calipers. Suspension has been in the car for a couple months. the ride was good but wasn't as firm as I wanted/needed in terms of tracking. these were never tracked on, i decided not to and just wait for the road race springs.
They're great for street driving and the back country roads, and girlfriend didn't seem to mind the ride quality. I attached a photo. Currently the car sits a little higher in the front, I have the height adjusting lower control arms so i was toying with ride height. That was definitely too low and I learned pretty quickly.

Thanks for response Chevymav72. I've a `68 Cutlass and it'll sit similar with same springs I'm guessing, after addressing front height. I'll need to be ready to use spring spacers at install. Will set front with what I get at back.
Thanks again, and may you recover well.
