I was looking for a remote reservoir, or something over my brake pedal inside but nothing. I can't believe one would have to pull the cover off this to check it? Especially at the down angle it's installed at, would think fluid would flow all over the place.

There does seem to be a single pole connection on the side, that may be for a gauge or other. Maybe there is something that plugs in for a temp look?

I have one in an old Dodge. Yup, got to take the cover off to check it.

All master cylinders used to be this way, except you have to turn screws instead of moving a spring clip.

Needs s dipstick then :) Or a plexi/glass viewing window. or a rubber plug/grommet on the cover that one could pull out/off and shove a screwdriver, chopstick, pinkie down to verify level.
Thanks!
