Back in the musclecar scene after being out for a while. Not completely out as i was driving an A4, S2000, wrx, and an STi for a while. So im glad to be back really working on my own car again. I bought my Nova in April this year on Ebay from a private party in Cali. When i finally received it i realized it needed a control arm bushing. One thing lead to another and now im almost finished installing a TCI subframe. I have taken photo's every step of the way and if anyone has any questions i would love to help. I plan on posting complete photo's of the install. Also installing: Flaming River tilt column, Classic Dash Auto Meter gauge cluster, Cheeta SCS shifter, Civic Si bucket seats, fiberglass wrapped in vinyl dash pad, complete engine bay wiring harness.

Looks like she is going to be a really nice Nova when you are done. I'm really liking the silver accent stripes on the headlight bezel and grill. Those Civic seats are going to be a great addition to the improved handling as well!

Hey Jon thanks for checking out the pics! I'm really happy with the headlight bezels and grill, my first attempt at spraying with a gun as opposed to a rattlecan. I highly recommend the civic si seats, very well made (dense foam) and super comfortable with 20 levels of height adjustment. I also have some Hotchkis frame connectors waiting to go in.. more pics to come!!!

Cannot wait to see the completed project and how the new subframe performs. Glad to see you are sticking with the BBC, while not as light and efficient as the LS engines, I still love the BBC and its sound.

Awesome! I also have a BB Nova. What are your thoughts on the TCI subframe so far? Any special issues with the BB and fit?

Hey Jeff. No problems with the BB, i'm using manifolds so there's plenty of clearance. I didn't really have the extra 700. for the headers. So far my only complaint is with the aftermarket steering column, TCI does not specify that the stock 32" length will NOT work with the TCI subframe. Im working with Sal at tci now to try and resolve this issue. Ill get into more detail, no time right now.. Thanks for checking out my ride!
