2001 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible
4.6 DOHC V8. 89,500 miles. Mach 460 Stereo.
Spintech Exhaust, Dr. Gas Catted X-pipe, Cold Air Intake. Kenny Brown Strut
Tower Brace. Kenny Brown Underbody Bracing.
I am second Owner. Bought the car in 2003 with 12,000 miles on it.
Mechanically car is in excellent condition. Runs and drives excellent.
Exhaust sounds amazing. Brakes are Stillen front disks and pads all
around. Sumitomo tires have little wear.
Interior is in excellent clean condition with overall less than average wear and tear.
Driver seat Alcantara(Faux Suede) has normal wear from being a daily driver but other
seats are excellent. Stereo/Radio sounds great but CD player is jammed and wont eject
or accept CD's...need aftermarket upgrade with IPOD/USB connectivity.
Paint/Body is shiny with normal chips on front end and some minor damage areas(see pics).
Convertible top worked fine until this spring when the right side cylinder starting leaking.
Top has normal wear for 11 year old car.
When I bought the car in 2003, it had a Procharger P1SC on it. Actual miles is slightly
higher(approximately 105K) because the chip must be programmed for the wrong rear gear
ratio. I took the blower off in 2007, tired of wearing out belts and needed perfect
reliablility that the blower couldn't give me. 42lb Injectors, 80mm Lightning MAF, and
JMS Chip still installed. I still have the blower parts(bracket, head unit, intercooler,
and piping) and can include them for extra $750.
A/C Compressor is new(installed last summer) but system must have a leak as it will not
hold a charge more than about 2 weeks.
I have really enjoyed the Cobra...Selling because I have a 1968 Bel Air Wagon project
and a new company car and no longer have room for the Cobra.
KBB shows private party Good $16,048 and Fair $14698. Fair Trade-in $12,600
NADA clean value shows clean trade-in $11,000.
Price to sell quickly at $8,500.
