I finally got my driveshaft and want to get some fluid in my transmission. Now I have the original saginaw 4-speed, but she was completely rebuilt and I rememebr the guy saying to use 75w90 weight fluid? Does that sound right and where would I get such a fluid, (I will check NAPA), and can you guys recommend a manufacturer? Thanks in advance, sorry for the dumb questions...

Straight 90wt is perfered.....

Not really a big fan of the full syns in an older transmission, due to the fact that they actually used real brass for the synchros. I myself use a Schaffer, suspended moly, straight 90 wt with about 2/3 of a quart of Redline MTL. ..... The MTL helps the brass and its shifting characteristics while the base 90 wt provides the shock loading resistance.
