I have five relays now in my engine bay near my battery I need and want to secure neatly and with a clean appearance. I cannot locate any such pre-existing product that would allow me to bolt my relays to. I have the standard square body 12v single/double throw with the single eyelet tabs on them. Anyone have a suggestion what I can do to clean this mess up?

I use Radio Shack project boxes for most of my relay hiding requirements. About the middle of post 569 starts my box mods. I build an aluminum strip with rivnuts to mount the relays to. Makes for easy in and out and won't strip out like a sheet metal screw.

The boxes work very well. They come in a few different sizes. Here is one I used in my truck to hide all of the relays for the Hi-Four headlights and driving lites.

They also come with two covers. A plastic one and an aluminum one. Check them out a Radio Shack. They are very cost effect also. :)

I also made an aluminum box for the rear components to mount in. Same kinda stuff, just a fabbed box.
About the middle of post 622.

okw has a huge selection of project boxes as well. They are really high quality, have a whole assortment of different IP ratings and very reasonably priced. you can also get relay sockets that will link together and you'll have a clean linear layout.

here is a project i used in my boat with the relay sockets that link together.

Just doing a search myself for this today. Hella makes a 4 mini relay panel. http://www.rallylights.com/hl62943-mini-relay-box-4-gang-splashproof.html But if you are like me, you will have way more relays. So I may get something from a newer car/truck from the JY, and retrofit it. I have an old 81 Turbo Buick, with the "extra" list growing, lol.

Found an LT1 F-body relay/fuse panel, perfect! Small, houses 12 fuses and 8 relays. Just have to buy some new terminals and I am set!
