Speedtech has the cheapest aftermarket frames. A complete setup price is over $5000. My fully modded stock sub with all Ridetech and DSE parts is $4000.
I think you are looking for a 'Holy Grail' that does not exist. Either you do what I did with the stock sub and spend what I did or you step up and buy an aftermarket frame. Unfortunately, there really is no way to do it cheaper unless you buy used parts from someone else.
I did pick up my DSE steering box for $300 that was used in mockup only and my Ridetech control arms for $600 and they were only used in mockup only. You can find deals out there, but if you buy all new, then be prepared to have to pay retail. You gotta pay to play

The only advantage of doing it piece by piece like Mako (and I) did is the slower pace of how much cash you need to come up with. Performance costs money and eventually you will need to spend approx the same amount of cash for the same amount of performance. Buying a complete setup all at once has a couple of advantages. One being the R&D has already been done for you and secondly you go right to max performance as soon as the unit is installed instead of gradually over time. Thirdly you avoid the pitafalls of mis-matched parts.
Good luck!

For me, it cost about 1k more for full aftermarket. With that, I have c6 vette control arms and uprights and my c6 brakes bolt up. The beauty of it is that down the road the hubs are cheap, the arms are cheap, pads and rotors are cheap when they need replacement. Mine also uses a fox mustang rack which is also inexpensive and there are multiple options out there. I bought from Scott Mock at VRP. Speedtech would have been my other choice for full sub. If you had a discount coupon to summit that could really knock the price down.
