Anyone got any pics of this? It seems everyone likes the 26" tall tires. I'm running 275/60/15's on my car right now and come spring, I want to move to a 17 or 18" wheel on my 67' GTO. I love the full wheel well look in the back and the extra push in highway gearing associated with the 28" tall tires on my car. I know ill sacrifice a touch of handling but ill also maintain a bit more ride comfort i think and Iowa roads are horrible.

Anyhow, does anyone have any pics of an old A body with 28" tall tires on a 17 or 18" wheel?

Those are not very common sizes. I think Pirelli makes a 285/45/18, for a cool $500 each.

I have 255/45/18 front and 285/40/18 rear if you're interested in pictures.

There is a lot more to ride quality than just sidewall height.

Ill take any pics you got. I know there's more to ride quality than sidewall but it is a factor and I like the full wheel well look.

Not an A body but you did say ANY pictures you got... :)
My truck is running Nitto 450's 255/50-17's in front and 275/50-17's in back. I went with the taller sidewall for the same reason you did, road conditions and ride. The truck handles very well in both dry and wet and i wouldn't hesitate to buy these tires again. The rims are 17 x 8 with 4.50 BS front and 17 x 9.5 with 5.50BS rear.

I have 285/40/18s in the back, but that's only 27" tall. If you want pictures you can click on my build thread.
