minimum tire clearance???

What is a good minimum tire clearance for a rear tire setup? specifically between outer wheel house lip and inner wheel house, i'm in a toss up on running 335's or 315's.

Rear suspension type can be a factor too, what are you running?
1/2" is usually pretty safe.

I'm running DSE's mini tub and leaf setup.

a lot of guys say a finger width. Personally, I'm more comfortable with ~3/4 give or take a little. With that amount, you won't ever have to worry about it.

3/4" to the inside and 1/2" to the outside with a link type setup. I would add an 1/8" to both measurments for a leaf springs.
