The T56 service manual calls it a housing, clutch actuator adapter. I believe the GM part number is 12523315(they call it a bracket). Nevertheless, its the bracket that goes between the bellhousing and the clutch actuator(ya know the part that pushes against the clutch fork?), I recieved every part from the salvage yard but this one. My local GM dealer said they could get me one, but I would need a VIN off of the Camaro it came from. I informed them that I didn't think a 67 VIN would help....they agreed.

If it's the part I'm thinking of, I had to buy one too. It's basically an aluminum spacer right?

Try another dealer, I got mine at Cox and Cohoe in Wentzville. Took a few days to get. I had to get the studs that attach it too.

I went to Fusz and Elco, both did a dealer search and both said nobody in 50 miles has it. :bsjerk:

It is that aluminium spacer...I even have the studs. I'm gonna try that website today. Thanks Mark.

Thanks. I've ordered it via GM Parts direct, hopefully I'll get it. If not I'll give your guy a call.
