Ok, i'm at the point to get my brakes and wheels, but which one should i do first. I need to make sure brakes clear the wheels, and they will be custom offset.

It depends on you but most would feel wheel style comes first. That being said some wheels will not clear certain brakes no matter what the offset. Get the brake template of the brakes you want to use and get together with the wheel vendor to see if you are even in the ballpark.

Depends on which are more important to you. The one that is the most important for what you what out of the car is the one you get first.

Wheels then brakes because its easier to fit different brakes then it is different wheels. Did that even make sense???

That does make sense.

Just know that the diameter of the wheel does not infinitely open up your brake choices. The spoke shape and position is probably more critical as I have recently learned.

How about this. Do you have a brake setup in mind? A caliper with opposed pistons will make your wheel choice more critical.

Wheels first.

Most wheels are going to be custom made, taking from 4-8 weeks, depending on manufacturer. Brakes are off-the-shelf items. It's way easier to send back a brake setup that doesn't fit your wheels than doing the opposite.

forgeline wheels and then tell them the brake option you want to get.

If you have 3 different brake options that you are trying to decide on get have the wheels made to the one that requires the biggest space. Then you know all 3 brake options will work

I would get your wheel and tires first. With in mind of what brakes you are going to get. especially if you go bigger than stock. Because you can drive the car on the new wheels and tires untill you can afford the brake setup.
