We at Maier are taken back...and proud to have a photo like this surface with someone like Mary Pozzi and an early day Maier sticker on the Cobra. Also cool is this picture was taken at the Pleasanton Fair Grounds where this weekends Goodguys is taking place.

That was taken almost 30 years ago by someone named HellifIknow and we've started putting up photos for "Throwback Thursday" each week on FB. I remember the Farrah hair and the huge-rimmed glasses ... and that really cool real-deal Cobra I got to drive for several events finally ending with the Solo Nationals in 1984.
I've got a ton of these on my FB page with horses, cars, and other stuff I've had fun with over the last five decades.
Maier Racing has been a huge part of Solo since the late '70's and you couldn't ask for a nicer group of guys.
