Question for you guys out there running Wayne Due's C4 stuff. What front coilovers are available? Wayne said to run Hal/QA1 proma stars (#5855B). From what I've read, these shocks seem to be geared more for drag racing. My car is mostly a street car that gets driven hard. I will soon be moving to a town that has a drag strip and road course, so more track time may be in my future. Are the proma stars a good choice, or is there a better option? I thought I saw bilsteins on Jody's old car.
I also have been looking into spring rates. I've been thinking 300 lbs as a starting point. The car has an aluminum head small block. Does that sound about right? I like the ride quality of the 550 lb. Hotchkis springs on the car now, so I am looking for something that will be similar. Thanks,
